Winter Schooling Show and Show Team Try-Outs - Saturday January 2nd

We are holding our winter schooling show this Saturday, which doubles as show team try outs. The schooling show is open to ALL Raynham Stables students. Our schooling shows are low-stress, a great learning opportunity as well as a ton of fun!

ENTRIES ACCEPTED UNTIL NOON JAN 1st at the latest. Enter here: http://www.raynhamstables.com/entry-form.html

In case the weather is chilly, we are going to run on our winter format again this year. Riders will complete an equitation flat class then an equitation over fences round. This way, all the classes can run in the big arena and divisions will last approx. 1 hour so riders so not have to wait around all day in the cold!

We will be holding our normal six divisions: Pre-training, Entry, Pre-entry, Novice, Smurf and Grasshopper. See full division descriptions here:  http://www.raynhamstables.com/schooling-shows.html

The start times will be posted here on Friday, Jan 1st.

POTLUCK LUNCH: Instead of selling food we will be doing a potluck lunch. Please bring something to share.

This also in our 2016 Show Team Try-Outs. Anyone who wants to show with us this year should be here! All the information for show team will be presented at the show team meeting in late January. Riders wishing to try-out for show team should indicate "Show Team" in the questions box on the Entry Form. Be patient, but get excited!

Winter Session, In-House Clinic and Merry Christmas Raynham Riders!

Hey Raynham Riders,

We hope everyone enjoyed the warm holidays this year!   It was certainly a nice change from last year's "polar vortex" to be able to ride outdoors in just a long-sleeve shirt on Christmas Eve!  We'd also like thank everyone for a fantastic year last year!  Our show team was very successful, we have a lovely new cross country schooling area and we have lots of terrific new students that started in the fall.    We are looking forward 2016 and seeing everyone back in the saddle!

Just a reminder to all students - as usual, you are automatically re-enrolled for the next session as riding is a year-round sport (and the sessions are just to make payments easier!).  If you do need to change your lesson time for whatever reason, please let me know ASAP.

We are going to run the in-house clinics again this year, I apologise for the last-minute notice - moving in December was a bit tricky!  We are offering lessons both Tuesday & Wednesday (Dec 29 & 30) and will offer dressage and jumping lessons both days.  We can open more spaces if the demand requires.  To simplify things, I have opened up spots on the online scheduler.  Ring One is for booking a private dressage lesson and Ring Two will be group jumping lessons.  The group lessons have levels assigned:

Novice - Up to 2'4" courses
Intermediate - Up to 2'8" courses  (Entry/Pre-Entry)
Advanced - 3' and above (Pre-training +)

If you would prefer to pay by cheque, you can enter the booking code CLINICDRESSAGE (for dressage)  or CLINICJUMP (for jumping) and bring payment at the time of your lesson.  Boarders should use this options so that you can deduct your $10 boarder discount.

Please let me know if you have any issues!
